I've tried those guided meditations on CDs and 'free-range' meditation where I state my intention and just wait and see what comes through.

Don't seem to have had much luck so far.

Have you any tips, please??

I found your post about your Spirit Guides really interesting, thank you! Not sure if you have come across this second hand book site, but if you look on www.abebooks.co.uk you'll see some of Frances's books on there - including Boy Friday, which I assume is one of her children's books.
