Hello All,

Janet here (Serene Tiger from S&D), I'm a happily married mum of a beautiful 10 year old who is a mobile holistic therapist.

I am very excited as my reiki master has agreed to take me on as an apprentice teacher next month! Also, I'll be starting my yoga teacher training in September so it's all happening this year!! :happy1:

Looking forward to navigating round Pat's wonderful site and getting to know you all (or get re-aquainted to you S&D Forumites!!).

In love & light,

Janet

Hi Janet,
I love your avatar, you're into Tigers then?
I had a friend who sponsored a tiger in Chester Zoo, have you ever been?
the new panther house is amazing.
Congrats on your Reiki and Yoga, hope to chat soon.

Hi Tara,

Thanks for that. The tiger is my totem animal. I have been to Chester Zoo many times (not too far away!!) and I love all the big cats (plus their smaller domestic cousins of which I have 2!!).

I have now started my reiki teacher training which is really good, so looking forward to being able to pass this on. I'm also lookng for a venue to hold the yoga classes & have already got some interest from people to join the classes.

Will chat again soon.

In love & light,

Janet

Oh bless you Peyton!

It's amazing how people are reacting so positively to the idea. I think it's because whilst there are yoga classes in my area, they tend to be established and put people off who've never done yoga before so I'm aiming to plug this gap.

In love & light,

Janet

yes it's exactly that.

i joined a yoga class a while ago & only went a couple of times because everyone had known each other for years & had been at the yoga class since it began.

whilst they were welcoming i felt extremely out of place - as i usually do in most places anyway - but couldn't find one that was just starting out in my area.

it was a shame because i loved it as well.

Welcome Janet,

Another S & D newbie here! Congratulations too on your Reiki and Yoga. The world is your oyster (or, as a friend of mine says, your lobster!!)

I would love to join your yoga class,if only I lived nearer to you!
I used to go a long time back and I loved it I got as far as standing on my head
-which I was quite proud of at the time as I'd never done anything like that before!
and the meditation bits were brilliant -in fact you've got me thinking I used to enjoy it so much
I just might start again!!
Thanks and Bb

Thank you so much Sandra & Tara for your responses.

Tara, why don't you have a look at the British Wheel of Yoga website, they show local teachers when you put in your postcode so you might find someone near you.

In love & light,

Janet

Thanks for that suggestion Janet - I'm trying to find a yoga class near me - although I have found a couple of leaflets that look promising this week!

Will let you know if my flexibility increases in any way lol!

Love Kirsty xx

Good luck Kirsty, I hope you find a good class. A decent yoga teacher should be able to work with anyone irrespective of their flexibility etc.

In love & light,

Janet
